From my perspective, while I have been pleased with what professional reviewers have had to say,
nothing compares to hearing from my readers!!

Email 1 (after reading the first chapter): I was so disturbed that I had to hide the book in the garage under stuff and burn candles and sage in the bedroom where I was reading it!! I found the first part very upsetting ... I was too traumatized to really enjoy it. I am very interested to see what happens to Nola, so when I am ready, I will retrieve it from the garage, light my candles and start again!! Email 2 (received ten days after the first): I finished your book and I must say I really enjoyed it. I only wish that Nola had been in it more right throughout the book, so I could have gotten to know her and her life better. I like the way it all tied together so beautifully at the end ... It was a very interesting and unique book - I haven't read anything like that before - well done. I'm sure it will do really well. For those of you who feel the same re Nola, you'll be happy to know that she is "writing" the first sequel as you read this - mm
